Thing To Do and Not Do at Scott Creek Beach

Apart from being able to sunbathe completely naked in Scott Creek Beach, there are other things that you can do to have fun there. Kite flying is one of the favorite activities at Scott Creek Beach, and, since you can bring your pets should you want to do so, you can spend an afternoon playing fetch with your dogs. Surfing, wind surfing, and kite surfing are also regarded as some of the popular activities indulged in when in Scoot Creek Beach (although since there are no proper amenities there, you are to bring your own equipment – and you are not to attempt any sort of activity that you are not an expert in). In fact, we suggest that if you are a big fan of surfing, come and visit Scott Creek Beach between October and May, that's when the waters get choppy enough to provide you with a challenge, especially at the north end of the beach. Your are advised, however, to watch out for rocks, rips, and sharks.

That being said, it must also be mentioned that despite the fact that skinny dipping is perfectly acceptable, swimming is not advisable. Scott Creek is fairly notorious for having a strong undertow, not to mention having a few rocky crags and the possibility of being attacked by a shark should you swim too far out. You are also warned that the wind could be a little chilly, and the water is pretty much the same. Still, you can do pretty much whatever you want at Scott Creek Beach.
